Remember my post HERE? Antiques in Alaska are in short supply thus they tend to be expensive. After my obsession of Jadeite, I found that Fire King also made a line called Azurite the same time that Jadeite was manufactured, 1940's to 1960's. Browsing online I discovered several reasonable antique dealers in the lower 48 that have a variety of Azurite & Jadeite dishes available. Kyle and I talked about it, well mostly me, and he is ok with me picking up some pieces to start a nice collection. Some women buy China, but for me its Vintage! So my collection is starting with Azurite but I would like to also pick up some Jadeite as well. Now I need a nice curio to display them in.
